Carey Robinson appointed as Head of Learning and Participation at the Fitzwilliam Museum

The Fitzwilliam Museum today announced the appointment of Carey Robinson as Head of Learning and Participation.

Carey Robinson is currently Head of Education at the South London Gallery and leads the strategic delivery of an expansive programme of creative learning opportunities for young people, schools, and communities across the Gallery’s three sites. Previously she has held curatorial and creative producer roles at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Tate, and The Courtauld. Carey is also a trustee at A New Direction and Create London.

Carey will lead the learning programmes at the Fitzwilliam Museum and will provide strategic leadership for our Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation learning and inclusion programmes. She will also develop the Museum’s regional strategy and partnerships, supporting the team responsible for the University of Cambridge Museums’ children and young people and adult inclusion programmes.

Speaking about her new role at the Fitzwilliam, Carey said:
