The performance will be approximately 2 hours long with a 15 minute interval. The audience will be seated on chairs underneath an awning, but please wear clothing appropriate to the weather. Performances may be subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. Covid restrictions will be in place in line with current Government guidelines.

'As You Like It' is a tale of escape, love and disguise. Rosalind and her cousin Celia escape from court, after Duke Frederick banishes Duke Senior, Rosalind’s father. The cousins flee into the forest to search for Duke Senior, but instead they find Orlando, Rosalind’s love, who is on the run from his Machiavellian brother. Disguised as a shepherd boy, Ganymede, Rosalind has Orlando woo her under the guise of ‘curing’ him of his love for her. Follow Rosalind into the forest as she performs different roles to find love and ensure peace. And find some modern-day respite of your own … in the green world of the Forest of Arden.

Jamie Rycroft, Manager, ADC Theatre says:

"The ADC are excited to be working with the Fitzwilliam again after our successful production of 'His Dark Materials' in 2018. We hope that you enjoy this special outdoor production of one of Shakespeare's most interesting plays, in our own Forest of Arden here on Trumpington Street."
