On 23 June, the Government announced that cinemas, museums and galleries would be able to reopen in England from 4 July. Here at the University of Cambridge, the Botanic Garden as an outdoor attraction is already open.
Across the University of Cambridge Museums, we are each planning as individual institutions when it will be safe and appropriate for us to open.
At the Fitzwilliam Museum we are preparing the building, and also working on a free, timed, ticketing system, to allow visitors back into our galleries at some point in August.
The date of reopening will be announced on the home page of our website, and also across our social media profiles.
