Location filming

With a collection spanning centuries and a beautiful neoclassical building in the heart of Cambridge, The Fitzwilliam Museum is a stunning location for commercial filming and photography. Please contact our Image Library and Events Teams via email for more information:

The Museum is closed to visitors on Mondays except on Bank Holidays. Filming in some back-of-house locations during public opening hours can be arranged, subject to availability and permissions.

How much does it cost to film or photograph at the Museum?

Fees are assessed based on crew size and the duration of the shoot. It is an hourly rate charged from the time of arrival until departure, per hour. Please enquire for further details.

How much notice does the Museum need for a new shoot enquiry?
