In this section you can see drawings and paintings by great masters of the Italian Renaissance - Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Correggio and Titian - as well as works by less well-known artists, like Jacopo del Sellaio and Paolo di Stefano.
View masterpieces of the applied arts from the period: a decorated maiolica plate from Urbino, a magnificent parade helmet made in Milan, and a glass bowl from Venice bearing the Lion of St. Mark.
And discover some of the great artistic personalities of the 17th century: Guido Reni, Guercino and Salvator Rosa.
